The 3rd Conference on Fully Actuated System Theory and Applications (FASTA2024) is sponsored by Southern University of Science and Technology and Technical Committee on Fully Actuated System Theory and Application, CAA and organized by the School of System Design and Intelligent Manufacturing, Southern University of Science and Technology. FASTA2024 will be held in Shenzhen, China, from 10 to 12 May 2024. Its purpose is to provide an academic communication platform for scientists, engineers, and practitioners in related research fields from all over the world to show the latest developments in control theories and technical achievements. It provides a variety of opportunities for academic communication and sharing, such as keynotes, special sessions, oral presentation sessions, poster sessions.

Shenzhen, also known as Pengcheng, is China‘s first special economic zone, a window city of reform and opening up, one of the four first-tier cities, one of the central cities of the Greater Bay Area, and an important high-tech research and development and manufacturing base in southern China. It is located on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary, facing Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay in the east, Lingdingyang in the west, bordering Hong Kong in the south, Huizhou and Dongguan in the north. The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with mostly low hilly land and some gentle platform. It has a subtropical monsoon climate, which is warm, pleasant and rich in precipitation. Shenzhen is one of the national comprehensive reform pilot zones. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and The State Council support Shenzhen in building a pilot demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Shenzhen bears the important mission of testing and demonstrating China's institutional innovation and wider opening up. Welcome to Shenzhen in 2024!

In order to improve the international influence and visibility of the scholars engaged in the theory and application of fully-actuated systems in China, the conference languages of the 3rd Conference on Fully Actuated System Theory and Applications (FASTA2024) have always been Chinese and English, that is, the on-site communication of the conference can be both Chinese and English, and the papers included in the conference proceedings must be English. Therefore, papers submitted to IEEE conference publication operations must be in English, and IEEE will arrange further evaluation for all submitted papers. Only papers that pass its evaluation are allowed to apply to enter IEEE Xplore (and then be retrieved by EI). Therefore, the 3rd Conference on Fully Actuated System Theory and Applications (FASTA2024) states as follows:

1. The language of papers included in FASTA2024 conference proceedings must be English, and all the papers will be submitted to IEEE;

2. The author of the thesis needs to submit a written statement together with the submitted manuscript to ensure that the thesis has no academic misconduct. During the review process of the meeting, IEEE related plagiarism inspection system will be used to review all manuscripts. The problematic papers will be reported to the Procedure Committee for processing, and all of them cannot be entered into IEEE Xplore.

Papers accepted at the conference should be registered by the authors of the accepted papers and delivered at the conference.
