With great pleasure, we welcome you to the 2024 IEEE Conference Advanced Topics on Measurement and Simulation (ATOMS) on 28 - 30 August 2024, in Constanta, Romania.
ATOMS is a biennial forum for the exchange of information on the research and development with a focus on models, measuring techniques and simulation tools for engineering. It also aims to bridge the gap between different areas, such as electronic engineering, communications, signal processing, electric engineering, and environment protection, in terms of methods for modeling and experimental validation.
ATOMS has single-track invited oral presentations given by prominent researchers and poster sessions that facilitate valuable interaction and networking among the delegates.
We encourage you to submit leading-edge, state-of-the-art contributions in electromagnetics, radiowaves and antennas, signals and systems, communication systems, computing systems and information theory, remote sensing systems, photonics and electrooptics, electronic technology, artificial intelligence, applications in energy and electric systems, mechanical and electromechanical systems, environment protection.
ATOMS 2024 is organized by Constanta Maritime University and by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. It is technically co- sponsored by the IEEE Romania Section, by the IEEE Romania Section - Antennas and Propagation Society / Council on RFID Joint Chapter, by the IEEE Romania Section - Communications Chapter, and by the Romanian Association on Antennas and Propagation (RAAP).
We are looking forward to meeting you in Constanta, Romania.

Notification of acceptance: April 25, 2024 .
Full Paper submission deadline: July 10, 2024.
Paper submission information can be found here
Topics include, but will not be limited to:
ATOMS 2024 papers will be submitted via the EDAS platform. As all papers are divided into three categories, i.e., Keynote Speak Papers, Invited Oral Papers, and Regular Papers, the paper submission portals are provided separately for the convenience of authors:
Paper Submission Guidelines:
Only original papers that have not been published earlier or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered.
Authors MUST submit one page abstracts in English for review describing the essential of their work and including figures and equations, by March 31, 2024 by following one of the submission links provided above. For your abstract submission you must use the standard A4 IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found here
Abstract submission opens on December 15, 2023.
After acceptation, authors MUST submit full papers written in English that are 2-4 pages in length by July 10, 2024 . All papers must be formatted in two-column IEEE format (single spaced and 10-point font for text) including figures. The electronic submissions must meet all IEEEXplore specifications. The conference maintains the right to refrain from accepting papers that are longer than 4 pages. The authors of the accepted papers will be notified to perform a final submission to deliver the copyright form and upload final form of their manuscript. For your submission you must use the standard A4 IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found here
Author can also submit only-abstract papers. These authors need to mark (Abstract) right after the title of the manuscript when submission, and then only need to upload the Abstract. It should be noted here that all submitted abstracts will NOT be published. For your abstract submission you can still use the standard A4 IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found here
All figures, tables, references, etc. are included within the page limit, both in abstracts an final papers. Papers must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. Authors must use IEEE PDF eXpress tool to generate a compatible PDF file, using the conference ID 60779X.
IEEE POLICIES:
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., by not including it in IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously, and IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice.
