By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to identify key authors and publications in your field, develop a deeper understanding of research trends, and improve your publication strategies. This workshop is specifically designed for journal writing, and you'll have the opportunity to draft a high-impact journal paper as part of the course. Ts. Dr. Aidi Ahmi is an associate professor at the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, Universitiy Utara Malaysia (UUM). He obtained his PhD. in Information Systems and Computing from Brunel University London, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He has been recognised as Professional Technologist (Ts.) by the Malaysia Board of Technologies (MBOT). He is also a lifetime member of the Malaysian Accounting Association (MyAA) and Internet Society (ISOC) Malaysia. Now he is actively sharing his knowledge of bibliometric analysis through workshops and training organised by higher learning institutions, associations, and training institutions. He has published two books on bibliometrics, entitled “Bibliometric Analysis for Beginners” and “Bibliometric Analysis using R for Non-Coders”. He has also actively published several articles on bibliometric studies in high-impact journals. To date, he has authored over 100 journal article publications and successfully supervised eight PhD graduates in the fields of accounting, information systems, auditing, and information and communication technology. He is also active in consulting projects. Currently, he is involved with the Citation & Infometric Division, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, for the Bibliometric Project on the Performance of Malaysian Scholarly Outputs 2017-2021.
