活动简介

After being held in Singapore, Los Angeles (2015), Chengdu (2016), and Hong Kong (2017 & 2018), Singapore (2019 & 2020) successively in last six years, 2021 IEEE 7th International Conference on Virtual Reality (ICVR 2021) will be held during May 20-22, 2021 in Foshan, China.

As an innovation in human-computer interaction to use headsets to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulates a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment, virtual reality has attracted much attention since huge company investments.

征稿信息

ICVR 2021 is a forum to discuss new advances and developments in virtual reality by involving researchers, senior technical people, domain experts, and academics together. Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting original works that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in related fields of virtual reality.

ICVR 2021 welcomes author submission of papers concerning any branch of the Virtual Reality, and their applications ineducation, and other subjects. The subjects covered by ICVR 2021 include Technologies & Applications, Multi-sensory Experiences, and Interaction,  and their applications.

The 7th International Conference on Virtual Reality (ICVR 2021) will be held during May 20-22, 2021 in Foshan, China. As a forum to discuss new advances and developments in virtual reality, the ICVR 2021 will bring together an international community of experts to discuss the state-of-the-art, new research results, perspectives of future developments, and innovative applications relevant to virtual reality (VR), including augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), 3D user interfaces (3DUIs), and related areas.

作者指南

1. Papers for publication must be submitted in full paper electronically via the following link. All edition and update must be done up until the submission deadline.

If you want to edit and update the manuscript, please log in the same account (User name & Password) and update it. Don't creat another account to do so.

2. The authors are suggested to use the ICVR 2021 Formatting Template to meet formatting requirements.

Your paper must comply with the following specifications:
Paper Length : 8 pages , but not exceeding 20 pages, including figures, tables & references
Paper Size: A4 (210mm X 297mm) / Allowed File Size: 2.0Mb
Do NOT page number your paper and Do NOT apply security settings to your file

Additional Requirements

If your paper is accepted for publication at this conference, you will also need to adhere to the following requirements:
• Without copyright form, we can NOT publish your article. The conference secretary will send you the notification about it.
• REMINDER: At least one of the authors listed on the accepted paper must be registered AND attend the conference to present their paper.

Paper Review Related

All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:
1. Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.
2. Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s).
3. Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.
4. Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiaris

  • Review Process:

By submitting a paper to ICVR, the authors agree to the review process and understand that papers undergo a peer-review process. Manuscripts will be reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Conference Committee, who will give detailed comments and — if the submission gets accepted — the authors submit a revised ("camera-ready") version that takes into account this feedback.

All papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process: authors declare their names and affiliations in the manuscript for the reviewers to see, but reviewers do not know each other's identities, nor do the authors receive information about who has reviewed their manuscript.

The Committees of ICVR 2021 invest great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organising the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit.

  • Plagiarism:

ICVR is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.
If the author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:
1. Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.
2. Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)
3. Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.
4. Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarist”.

  • Dual/Double Submissions:

By submitting a manuscript to ICVR, authors acknowledge that it has not been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form in any peer-reviewed venue with publicly accessible papers, including journals, conferences, workshops, or other peer-reviewed, archival forums. Furthermore, no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another peer-reviewed conference or workshop with publicly accessible papers during the review period. The authors also attest that they did not submit a substantially similar submission to ICVR 2021. As a rule of thumb, the ICVR submission should contain no more than 20 percent of material from previous publications. Violation of any of these conditions will lead to rejection.
