Rotor blade rubbing is a common fault in the operation of aero-engines. The rub impact dynamics of high-speed aero-engine rotor is complicated. In practice, the vibration characteristics are not always the same when rotor blades rubbing occurs. In order to determine the occurrence of rubbing more accurately, these methods include time domain analysis, frequency domain analysis, axis orbit analysis, and precession analysis are all useful and necessary. During the operation of an aero-engine, the vibration value was too large. By analyzing the vibration strain signals, the rotor rubbing fault of the engine was diagnosed successfully. The vibration signal analysis process of the actual rotor rubbing can accumulate experience for the diagnosis of aero-engine rotor blade rubbing.
