The biennial 19th Asia-Pacific Vibration Conference (APVC2021) will be held in Qingdao from the 14th - 17th October 2021. APVC is an international conference series established by a group of reputable researchers/academics from the Asia Pacific countries in 1980s to encourage scientific and technical exchange and cooperation on vibration and vibration related fields. The conference aims to bring researchers, engineers and students from, but not limited to the Asia Pacific countries, in a collegial and stimulating environment to present the most recent advances in theories, technologies and new applications regarding vibration and sound. This conference pays a special attention to cultivate a sociable and professional atmosphere to encourage socializing, networking between attendees, and to forge new friendships and consolidate the existing ones, in addition to the benefits of exchanging new ideas and technologies.
The previous eighteen series conferences were successfully held in Japan (1985), Korea (1987), China (1989), Australia (1991), Japan (1993), Malaysia (1995), Korea (1997), Singapore (1999), China (2001), Australia (2013), Malaysia (2005), Japan (2007), New Zealand (2009), Hong Kong (2011), Korea (2013), Vietnam (2015), China (2017) and Australia (2019).
Conference attendees can also choose to have a walking tour of the picturesque Qingdao pier (栈桥), Shilaoren beach(石老人景区), Badaguan(八大关), Qingdao beer museum(青岛啤酒博物馆) or take a bus tour of Langyatai (琅玡台景区)in the social programme offered by the organizer. Qingdao also has many fancy cafes, bars, and restaurants serving various cuisines from the East to the West. For those wanting to venture a little further, day trips are possible to Laoshan Mountain(崂山) - the highest seaside mountain in the country, to experience a scenic tour and learn about its rich history.

A prospective contributor should submit an abstract to www.apvc2021.org before 31, March 2021. A template of the abstract can be downloaded from the conference website, which should include the title of the paper, the name of the authors and their affiliations, the postal and email address of the corresponding author, telephone and fax numbers, as well as the main body of text with around 250 words, and no more than 5 keywords. Authors of accepted abstract will be invited to prepare a 6-8 pages paper.
