In the present work, a hybrid immersed boundary/wall-model based large eddy simulation method is developed. for high Reynolds number turbulent flows with complex boundaries. Implementation of the method can be divided into calculation of local shear stress and reconstruction of subgrid viscosity. Viscous buffer near the immersed boundary is imposed to eliminate the disturb of IB force. The hybrid method is tested in turbulent plane channel flow, turbulent flow over cylinder and sphere. Results show the capability of the present method in handling flows with complex boundary and massive flow separation under high Reynolds number.
