The intention of organising the symposium (International Symposium on High-Fidelity Computational Methods & Applications 2019, ISHFCMA 2019) is to enhance deployment and applications of the high-fidelity methods in complex industrial fluid flows. Due to the increasingly stringent precision requirements for industrial designs, these methods have recently attracted great attention. The objective of this symposium is to bring together experts in computational science and experts in engineering application to exchange new ideas and discuss development perspectives of high-fidelity methods. It also offer a platform to show the exciting scientific and engineering study undertaken in this area. This symposium is enlightened by the Nektar++ workshop originated in 2015.
To be updated.
High-fidelity computational methods are emerging tools that underpin science and engineering. Due to the increasingly stringent precision requirements for industrial designs, these methods have recently attracted even greater attention. This symposium will bring together world leading experts to discuss novel developments, new perspectives and industrial applications. The ultimate goal of the symposium is to expand the range of application of high-fidelity numerical tools in engineering practice.
Abstracts or posters are invited on the research, application and deployment of high-fidelity methods with a particular interest in computational mathematics, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics.
The selected papers will be published in Advances in Aerodynamics or Journal of Hydrodynamics.
Topics include but not limit to:
Theoretical and computational advances in high-fidelity computational methods.
Modelling of high-fidelity simulations for complex fluid flows.
Applications of high-fidelity computational methods in fluid mechanics.
Parallelisation and deployment for industrial applications.
