Vortex statistics of 2D turbulent systems based on IB-LBM

In this paper, Immersed Boundary Lattice Boltzmann Method (IB-LBM) is applied for the vortex statistics in three cassical turbulent sysytems, which are respectively the wake flow of a cylinder in 2D channel, 2D turbulence, 2D turbulent thermal convection. The results of vortex statistics for three turbulent sysytems based on Liutex show that the universal
algebraic number density n(A)~A^(-2) (A is vortex area), which is in fair agreement with the theory of Benzi.
