High-order finite difference schemes are widely used in CFD. However, the order of boundary closures is often degraded for stability reason, reducing the global convergence rate significantly. In this talk, we will present a method derived by using the global conservation property of conservation laws, such that the corresponding schemes are time stable up to globally eleventh order. Some numerical experiments are also presented to validate the method. In addition, some work about imposing boundary conditions using simultaneous approximation terms will also be discussed.
