Fatigue is the main failure mode of load-bearing components, and the harm it causes is very serious. At present, most of the research on fatigue damage detection is focused on monitoring fatigue cracks and crack propagation, but the evaluation of early fatigue damage has not been effectively investigated. In this paper, the early fatigue damage assessment method of ferromagnetic materials based on multi-source information is proposed by using Barkhausen noise and material magnetic parameters as information sources. An experimental system was established to conduct low-cycle fatigue experiments on 20R material and measure magnetic Barkhausen signals and magnetic characteristic signals in the fatigue process under multi-frequency excitation conditions. Furthermore, the correlation analysis of Barkhausen noise and magnetic parameters with the fatigue life of ferromagnetic materials is carried out. The results show that the multi-source-information-combined evaluation method can effectively evaluate the fatigue state of materials.
