In order to find a low temperature phase change material with a temperature range of 2~5°C, based on thoretical calculation, decyl alcohol and myristic binary eutectic mixture(DA-MA) with a mass ratio of DA:MA=87:13 was prepared. The DA-MA/ expanded graphite (EG) composite phase change material with an optimal mass ratio of DA-MA:EG=14:1 was obtained. The DA-MA was uniformly distributed in the network porous structure of EG after vacuum adsorption.The phase change temperature and latent heat of DA-MA/EG were measured as 3.55℃and 172.3 J•g-1,and the thermal conductivity was 0.942 W•(m•K)-1, which was 3.4 times higher than the DA-MA.The thermal storage rate of DA-MA/EG composite PCM were increased by 37.5%.After 100 times of thermal cycles,the results revealed that DA-MA/EG still maintained good stability.Overall, the prepared DA-MA/EG composite PCM has great application prospects due to suitable phase change temperature, high latent heat and thermal conductivity, good thermal stability in cold chain logistics.
