This Fourth International Workshop will be held on June 15-20, 2019 in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The Workshop will be hosted by the IUCN Species Survival Commission Horseshoe Crab Specialist Group, organized by Qinzhou University, Guangxi Biodiversity Research and Conservation Association and Guangxi Key Laboratory of Beibu Gulf Marine Biodiversity Conservation. The conference venue will be at Qinzhou University, and field excursions will be taken place in Beihai City.
Please email your presentation abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “abstract + full name + affiliation”) by February 1, 2019. The presentation title and abstract must be written in English. A confirmation email will be sent out within three days of submission.
The session themes for oral presentations include (1) Horseshoe crab population ecology and evolution; (2) Advances in horseshoe crab biology; (3) Education and public awareness, (4) Horseshoe crabs in biotechnology, and (5) Horseshoe crab conservation challenges. Please note that the above theme code (1-5) is required for registration. Due to the limit of time slots in oral presentation sessions, not all abstracts submitted for oral presentations will be accepted. The Workshop Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and select the most appropriate ones for oral presentations. Abstracts unsuccessful for oral presentations can be changed to poster presentations.
