ICST is intended to provide a common forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the area of software testing, verification and validation. Starting from 2018, ICST features double-blind review process and the top 10% accepted papers receive the IEEE TCSE Distinguished Paper Award.

ICST 2019, the 12th in the conference series, will be held in Xian, China. One of the oldest cities in China, Xian was the capital of thirteen dynasties in China’s history. It is the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. ICST 2019 features keynote addresses by eminent scientists from both academia and industry. All research papers will be peer reviewed on the basis of a full length manuscript and acceptance will be based on quality, originality and relevance. Accepted research papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an IEEE catalog number and ISBN number. The proceedings will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore. By including poster sessions, workshops, PhD symposium, software testing contest, tool demonstrations, social events and an excursion to the Terracotta museum, ICST 2019 promises to help ensure an environment that stimulates learning and collaboration.
