A Ka-band CQ structure filter based on stereolithography(SLA) 3D printing technology is proposed. It is prototyped as a whole structure instead of multi- ple parts. Its surface metallization is carried out by employing electroless nickel/copper plating. These devices have little redun- dant structural material, and exhibit light weight and good mechanical strength as well as thermal handling capability due to the use of low-density ceramic-filled resin. The simulated results show that the center frequency of the filter is 30 GHz, and the insertion loss is less than 0.1dB in the operation frequency of 29.3 GHz to 30.7 GHz (relative bandwidth is 4.7%), and the return loss is better than 24 dB. Out-of-band suppression is better than 36.3dB and 36.2dB at 27GHz and 33GHz. The transmission zeros are at 28.31GHz and 31.69GHz.
