This paper proposes a new broadband high efficiency mixed power amplifier design method that combines a Class-J power amplifier with a Class-F power amplifier using GaN HEMT CGH40010F. Multi-point harmonic control matching network is employed to increase the bandwidth of the power amplifier. The simulation results show that the drain efficiency is 65%-71%, the output power is 40-42dBm, and the gain is over 10dB at the frequency of 1-2.8GHz.
