会议简介

Welcome to Xi’an China and 3rd International Conference on Photonics and Optical Engineering (icPOE 2018).

The field of photonics and optical engineering is developing rapidly worldwide. The related technologies have been applied in space exploration, Mars exploration, micro-nano devices and new materials development, biomedicine, quantum computerand quantum communication. In the “National Guideline on Medium and Long Term Program for Science and Technology Development (2006-2020)” of China, multiple priority are as and great demands mentioning Photonics and Optical Engineering involving remote sensing, environmental monitoring, bio-medical diagnosis, space exploration, astronomy, and other scientific areas. At present, the world’s largest radio telescope FAST (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radioTelescope) will be put into use; Chang'e IV lunar probe will also launch to realize the lunar exploration on the back of the moon; Mars exploration program has been formally established, and a Mars exploration satellite will be launched around 2020. These are the concrete embodiment of the rapid development of China’s photonics and optical engineering.

Indeed, there have been significant advances as well over the past years. There is an increasing number of Photonics and Optical Engineering companies setting up or ramping up their manufacturing facilities here and at the same time some home grown companies are show-casing innovations and technologies.

In order to cater to these developments, many universities and scientific research institutions in Xi’an, Shanghai, Tianjin and other famous cities have established ‘Photonics Research Centre’. These institutions have organized many national academic conferences for deeper academic exchanges and scientific interactions, as well as to strengthen the cultivation of the excellent talent and finally to reach out to the younger generation and highlight them career and research options in Photonics and Optical Engineering.

The International Conference on Photonics and Optical Engineering (icPOE) is one of the advanced academic forums in the world. The purpose of this conference is to build the international communication platform for optical research, to aim at the opportunity of emerging markets and technology, to strengthen the advanced technology of optical application and measurement for innovation and development through a series of academic exchanges. This conference is significant in promoting communication of the latest achievements, enhancing mutual understanding of the status and trend of development, and strengthening the international cooperation in the optical field.

We are looking forward to your attending and exchanging your research results on this distinguished conference.

Manuscript Specifications

· The manuscript length should be between 4-8 pages in length. Themanuscript must contain all elements of a full-length technical manuscript(abstract, intro, conclusion, references, etc.)

·Single-space all text in one column, allowing extra space betweenparagraphs.

·All text--including footnotes and author information--and illustrationsmust appear within a 6.75x8.75 in. (17.15 x 22.23 cm) area.

·If you use a U.S.-standard page (8.5 x 11 in./21.59 x 27.94 cm), setmargins to .875 in. (2.22 cm) left and right, 1.0 in. (2.54 cm) top and 1.25in. (3.17 cm) bottom.

·Use Times Roman or equivalent font for all text. Use boldface or italicfor emphasis only. The proper fonts (all Times Roman) for various elements areas described and shown below along with more detail on how to handle elementsof your paper.

Article title is 16 pt bold. Center the paper title at thetop of the page. Capitalize only the first word, proper nouns, and acronyms. Keeptitles brief and descriptive. Avoid starting with articles or prepositions,e.g., "The study of … ," "On the …." Spell out acronymsunless they are widely known.

Author Names and Affiliations are 12 ptand centered. Capitalize proper nouns. Leave extra space between authors andaffiliations/address. Omit titles or degrees such as Dr., Prof., Ph.D., etc. Avoidacronyms that are not internationally known.

ABSTRACT is on a line by itself, all capitals, centered,11-point type and boldfaced, two lines below author affiliation(s). Start thetext of the abstract on a separate line. The text is 10 pt with standardcapitalization. Limit the abstract to 250 words.

Keyword list is anuntitled list of up to 10 keywords of your choice in 10 pt with standardcapitalization. Donot put a heading on this list of keywords. Insert it between the abstract andthe body of the paper. Thislist will ensurethat your paper is indexed appropriately.

SECTION HEADINGS are 11 pt bold capital letters throughout the words centered onseparate lines. Number sections sequentially (i.e., 1, 2, 3,...).

Subsection headings are 10 pt bold with capitalization of the first letter of the firstword and proper names only. Type on a separate line flush with the left margin.Number subsections according to the following example: Sec. 3.1 is the firstsubsection of Sec. 3; Sec. 3.2.1 is a subsection of Sec. 3.2.

Paragraphs

Equations
Type all equations. Punctuateas a sentence. Type display equation numbers in Arabic numerals in parenthesesflush with the right margin. Number display equations consecutively.

Reference citations
Type reference citationswithin the text as superscripts.
