活动简介

Scientists and philosophers have been trying since a long to resolve two big questions of the universe: How does a human mind work and can non-human have minds? However, these questions are still unanswered.

We are trying to find out the computational approach originated by computer scientists and accepted the idea that machines can do everything that human can do.

The goal of artificial intelligence (AI) as a science is to make machines do things that would require intelligence if done by humans (Boden, 1977). Therefore, the answer to the question ‘Can Machines think?’ was vitally important to the discipline. However, the answer is not a simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, but rather a vague or fuzzy one.

Alan Turing the British mathematician was proposed the concept of universal machine. After the Second World War, he was a key player deciphering Enigma, the German military encoding machine and designed the ‘Automatic Computing Engine’.

This conference will be helpful to provide the insight view of the artificial intelligence and current spectrum, importance and its application. This event is mainly targeted to showcase our research strength and learning from the experiences of other research based Organizations/Universities of India working in the area of Artificial Intelligence.
