The 5th International Conference on Electric Vehicular Technology (ICEVT) 2018 is organized by the National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology. The aim of the conference is to provide opportunities for the different areas delegates in the field of Electric Vehicle (EV) technology to exchange new ideas and application experiences and to establish friendly relation among peers for future global collaboration. All accepted and presented papers will be forwarding for consideration to be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (Normally will be indexed in SCOPUS database), and non-presented papers will be pulled from submission to IEEE Xplore. Selected good quality papers will be considered to be published in International Journal of Sustainable Transportation Technology (IJSTT) with normal review process by the journal editor.

This conference will be held in Alila Hotel at Surakarta, Indonesia. Surakarta, as it is better known, is the older of the two royal capitals of Central Java. Together with Yogyakarta, it was the heart of ancient Javanese kingdoms, home to two royal houses, steeped in court rituals and rich traditions of dance, music and art. Regarded as the cradle of Javanese culture, Surakarta’s traditional court society is considered the most sophisticated in all of Java; the embodiment of elegance and refinement, more graceful, more eloquent. Till today, royal festivals and ritual ceremonies are still held with great pomp and majesty and witnessing these customs and traditions is one of the most captivating things to do in Surakarta, Indonesia.
