The 3rd International Conference on Islamic Education: “Information Technology and Media: Challenges and Opportunities” (3rd ICIED) is a interdisciplinary international conference that provides opportunities to bring together scholars, researchers, social scientists, and practitioners of different disciplines from all around the world, discuss and exchange new ideas, and discover the most recent researches in all fields of Education and Islamic Education. Moreover, it also gives the ideal chances for the delegates to share best practices and application experiences face to face, to establish research relations and to find international partnership for future collaboration among them.
The 3rd ICIED would be hosted by Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK), Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia. It will take place from October 24-25 at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang, Indonesia*. Prospective scholars, researchers, social scientists, and practitioners are cordially invited to submit original research abstract and full papers, which have not been submitted/published/under consideration in other conferences and journals.
Publication
Top Quality Paper conference papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) services, e.g. EI, DBLP, Thomson Reuters (Web of Science) and Scopus.

The 3rd ICIED 2018 would publish significant original research from a broad range of the challenges and opportunity of Education and Islamic Education. All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content, correctness, relevance to the conference theme, contributions, and readability.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit an or some original and unpublished papers that fulfilled these following guidelines:
- Papers must be written on A4-format page according to the IEEE template Manuscripts of minimum four (4) pages and up to six (6) pages in length. Submissions exceeding seven (7) pages will not be accepted.
- Language: English is the working language of the conference. If English is not your native language, please have your papers read by a native English speaker, or seek online services of proof reading to improve the language of your papers. Please note that your paper is subject to further review and it may be rejected if it is deemed that English of your paper is not acceptable.
- Paper submission is done through the EasyChair system. If you already have an account for EasyChair just login with your existing account. If you don’t have an EasyChair account you can register on the EasyChair Registration Page or during the paper submission process
