活动简介

The focus of EuroVR 2018 is to present novel Virtual Reality (VR) up-to Mixed Reality (MR) technologies, including software systems, display technology, interaction devices, and applications. Besides papers on novel results, industry-oriented presentations (automotive, medical, etc.), the EuroVR conference series create a unique opportunity for participants to network, discuss, and share the latest innovations around commercial and research applications.

As the previous years, we welcome industrial and academic exhibitors, as well as sponsors, all within the same exhibition area, to connect with our community.

Our major priority is to provide authors the opportunity to spread with an excellence label their innovative works within the wide community of end-users, from large industry up to SMEs.

作者指南

Long papers (14-20 pages) or Short papers (8-10 pages), both in one column Springer format (see below).

Both must be original, unpublished papers documenting new research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications in VR/AR/MR, addressing one or several topics of interest describe below.

The topics of interest of Scientific/Technical papers may be seen here.

Long and short Scientific/Technical papers will be selected by the International Program Committee (IPC) thanks to a double-blind review process, and accepted papers will be published as a book of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series edited by Springer. Information about indexing of the LNCS series is available through the Publisher’s website.

For paper submission, as well as to provide the Camera-ready document set for accepted papers, it is mandatory to upload, before the related deadlines, all documents thanks to the Online Conference Service (OCS) of Springer, whose a specific page concerns the review and the book edition of the EuroVR 2018 proceedings. This OSC access is available here.

In submitting a paper the author(s) agree that, upon acceptance, they will prepare the final manuscript in time for inclusion into the published proceedings and will present the paper at the conference.

To allow the publication of an accepted paper in the conference proceedings, it is mandatory one of the authors signs the copyright form on behalf of all of the other authors. The signing author must have obtained permission to do so beforehand. Moreover, the final manuscript will not be published without a regular registration of at least one of the authors of the accepted paper (including payment of the registration fee) before the deadline for camera-ready submission

Apart the publication of the conference proceedings, some of the best papers will be selected by a special committee to be invited to submit an extended version to the open access journal Frontiers in Virtual Environments. Information about this extended version submission procedure will be provided later on the EuroVR 2018 website and specific emails will be also addressed to the concerned authors.
