On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 5th International Biomaterials Symposium (IBS 2018) which will be held Aug 25 – 26, 2018, in Changchun, China.  

This symposium is a continuation of the previous International symposiums on Biomaterials that were held during our A3 (China-Japan-Korea) foresight project, and is organized by the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC) under the sponsorship of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, CAS. The symposium will include about 70 plenary, invited, and oral lectures. The main scientific topics of the symposium include "Biodegradable Polymers, Functional Polymers, Drug Delivery Systems, Non-viral Gene Carriers, Nanomaterials for Immunotherapy, Bioactive Materials for Regenerative Medicine, as well as Nanotechnologies for Cancer Diagnosis and Therapy".  

As the chairmen, we are greatly honored to make efforts to build it as a fruitful platform for academic exchange for biomaterials scientists from all over the world.
