The Cloud Computing Futures workshop seeks to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of emerging ideas and work at the frontiers of cloud computing technologies and services. The goal of the workshop is to facilitate the exchange of ideas in the myriad of areas that are at the core of cloud computing, as well as areas that overlap with cloud computing. The areas to be covered by the workshop include architecture, services, security, high performance computing, edge computing, and the internet of things. The workshop is open for submission of preliminary work which is not quite mature enough for the main conference. Papers describing original research on both theoretical and practical aspects of cloud computing are solicited.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to, recent advances in:
Cloud Architecture and Virtualization
Cloud Services and Applications
IoT and Mobile Cloud Computing
Big Data in the Cloud
High Performance Computing in/with the Cloud
Cloud Security and Privacy
Distributed Cloud Computing
Cloud Brokering
