On behalf of the scientific committee, it gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the “6th International Child and Adult Behavioral Health Conference” to be held on 1-3 March, 2018 at Jumeirah Etihad Towers.

The 5th International Child and Family Behavioral Health Conference was marked as one of the most successful and productive events in the region in 2017 with participation from world renowned psychiatric institutions including the American Academy for child and adolescent psychiatry, University of Chicago and the Maudsley institute of London.

The theme for the conference in 2018 will be mental illness from childhood to adulthood with equal distribution of lectures and workshops between child, adolescent and adult activities.

A comprehensive three day conference has been prepared through a combined collective effort by the members of the scientific committee, who furthermore have secured participation of world class scientists, renowned teaching faculty, thought leaders, academics, health practitioners, and stakeholders in a wide range of fields and disciplines to encourage exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the arena of child and adult behavioral health.

The conference presents high-level scientific content with major updates and state of the art lectures in the treatment and management of children and adults with mental and behavioral health disorders. Furthermore, to accommodate the comprehensive scientific program, two parallel symposia, provoking key note lectures, and a variety of workshops will run simultaneously for each sub-specialty.

The program features various psychiatric disorders including ADHD, Eating Disorders, Autism, Psychotic Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Addiction Disorders and the many other critical topics that affect Children and Adults. In addition, there will be many workshops to train professionals who work with children in clinical practice, at schools, hospitals, special-needs centers and other settings were services are provided to children. There would be workshops to train examiners for the Arab Board, workshops to prepare candidates who will be taking the Arab Board’s in general psychiatry and this year, we will be offering a full day of intensive research training for junior psychiatrists and senior residents who are interested in pursuing a career in academic research.
