The annual International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP) aims to provide a forum that brings together International researchers from academia and practitioners in industry to meet and exchange ideas and recent research work on all aspects of wireless communications and signal processing. Following the great success of WCSP’09-16, the ninth edition of the event, WCSP’17, will be held in Nanjing, China, on October 11-13, 2017. The conference will be sponsored and organized by the National Mobile Communications Research Lab at Southeast University, China, and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE and IEEE Communications Society.
It will consist of six symposia, including the Ad Hoc and Sensor Networking Symposium, Communication Theory Symposium, Wireless Communications Symposium, Wireless Networking Symposium, Wireless Network Security Symposium, and Signal Processing symposium. The communication theory symposium focuses on the state-of-art research topics related to all aspects of communication theory. Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for publication in the conference proceedings and for presentation at the symposium.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Coding theory
Coding in multiple access
Information theory and channel capacity
Network information theory
Detection and estimation theory
Cooperative communications theory
CDMA and spread spectrum
Compressed sensing
Adaptive modulation and coding
Joint source and channel coding
Error control coding
Network coding
Source coding and data compression
Space-time coding and processing
Distributed coding and processing
Turbo and LDPC codes
Distributed storage
Diversity and fading countermeasures
Theoretical aspects on interference management
Theoretical aspects of cognitive radio
