The main aim of ADTech-SAB 2018 is to tackle traditional topics concerning anaerobic digestion, including energy and nutrient recovery, biodegradation of recalcitrant compounds, etc., in parallel with more innovative themes such as process engineering for improving AD efficiency, new biomass feedstock for AD, molecular biology tools for understanding, designing and operating AD processes, and AD to decrease carbon footprint.
