It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 41th Annual Congress of the European Accounting Association, which will be hosted by Bocconi University from May 30th to June 1st, 2018. The congress will take place at Bocconi University campus located few minutes from the city center.

Bocconi University was established in Milan in 1902 and was the first Italian university to grant a degree in economics. Nowadays, Bocconi is a university of international standing in business, economics and law. Many of its research projects are funded by national and supranational institutions. As a modern European university, it features in major international rankings, such as the fifth university in Europe for social sciences and management in the QS Rankings. Bocconi University was founded to foster social and economic progress across Europe and beyond. It is a mission that is shared by its community of over 100,000 alumni involved in industries all around the globe.

For many generations, Milan has been the birthplace of vibrant new ideas about fashion, art, industry and finance. From imposing gothic structures to challenging contemporary art, centuries of creativity live here. Milan is Italy's financial capital and it is a blend of history and modernity with its towering structures and picturesque parks, exclusive performances and free concerts and events. With a population of more than one million inhabitants, it is Italy's most international city. 17% of its residents come from outside the country, resulting in a cuisine and customs influenced by cultures from all around the world. Among the beautiful places that make Milan unique, it is possible to visit the “Duomo di Milano”, one of the world's largest cathedrals, and the “Teatro alla Scala”, one the world’s leading opera houses.

The Doctoral Colloquium will take place in Varese on May 26th-29th, 2018.
