On behalf of all the ICACT2018 international conference committees, we would like to welcome all of you to ICACT2018. It is a great pleasure for us to host the 20th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Communications Technology (ICACT) at Elysian Ski Resort, Gangwon-do, Korea. 

The ICACT is annual international conference in the communications field, where all experts from home and abroad come together to present their work, and share new ideas and visions for achieving the future telecommunications age. 

The ICACT has been held annually since 1999, and also the last conference, ICACT2017, was successfully held with the selected 160 papers in which there were 114 oral session papers and 46 poster session papers. The 114 oral session papers presented by the 72 foreign and 46 domestic 1st authors from the 21 participant countries. 

All the accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases, such as SCOPUS, EI Compendex, INSPEC, and Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), etc. 

The special theme of ICACT2018 is focused on the “Opening New Era of Smart Society!". We expect that the ICACT2018 will play a pivotal role in order to make great contribution to make our world smarter and prosperous. 
We are very certain that ICACT2018 will be great significance to us all, and we hope you will enjoy not only the technical excellence during the technical sessions, but also the recreational contents of the beautiful Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics place in Korea.
