Welcome to the 2nd International Conference on Indonesian Economy and Development (The 2nd ICIED). The conference was first held in December 2015 under the name of ‘Conference on Economics and Finance in Indonesia’ (CEFI). Hosted by Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, the main conference will be held on August 14 – 15, 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to the main agenda, a one-day pre-conference workshop will be held on August 13, 2017.

This year conference brings a theme ‘Economic Research and Policy in The Changing World’. We invite national and international scholars to present and publish their research on economic and development issues in developing countries with a special focus on Indonesian economy. The 2nd ICIED aims to facilitate open discussions and debates, knowledge-transfer, and scientific dialogues amongst scholars in the field of economics and development.
