CAMP’18, the Fourth International Conference on Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management will be held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on 26 – 28 March 2018. The conference is organised by PECAMP, the Malaysian Society of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management.
CAMP’18 is the premier international conference for the presentation of new research results and for the demonstration of new systems and techniques in information retrieval and knowledge management. The conference consists of three days of full papers, tutorials and workshops focused on research and development in the area of information retrieval and knowledge management, as well as an industry track and social events. CAMP’18 will take place in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the Malaysian state of Sabah on the Borneo Island. Kota Kinabalu is a bustling, diverse city of old colonial buildings and modern towers. It is situated on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. It is a major tourist destination and a popular gateway for travellers visiting Sabah and Borneo. Kinabalu Park is located about 90 kilometres from the city and there are many other tourist attractions in and around the city. Kota Kinabalu is also one of the major industrial and commercial centres of East Malaysia, thus making Kota Kinabalu as one of the fastest growing cities in Malaysia.
Conference proceedings will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore* as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The previous CAMP conference proceedings have been included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Scopus database. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (i.e. removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Proceedings of the CAMP’10, CAMP’12 and CAMP’16 can be accessed through IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
