MGM University of Health Sciences, Navi-Mumbai is hosting an international conference on Neonatology, in collaboration with the National Neonatology Forum and Paediatric Association of India from 12-17 September, 2017. The program highlights are: (1) A 4-day training program on Facility-Based Newborn Care (FBNC 12-14 Sep) and NRP(15 Sep) by senior accredited faculty from NNF for general Pediatricians, Residents and Neonatal Nurses at MGMIHS AUDITORIUM, KAMOTHE. (2) Five multi-centric concurrent workshops on 15th September at MGM’S New Bombay Hospital Vashi, Terna Medical College Hospital, Dr DY Patil Medical college Skill lab Nerul, MGM Hospital, Kalamboli and Sion Hospital, Mumbai. These hands-on workshops will cover advanced skills such as – Neonatal echocardiography including demonstration of device closure strategies in CAHD, Indian adaptation of Kangaru Mother Care, Advanced Ventilation, Non-invasive ventilation and Human Milk Banking respectively. (3) The main conference will be held at HOTEL FOUR POINT, VASHI from 16 to 17 September, dealing updates on foetal medicine, sepsis, HIE, Jaundice, Cholestasis, Nutrition of ELBW, TPN/PPN, Cardiology, Urology, Palliative care, Dermatology, Rare images, interactive case scenarios. Several more diligently such selected topics will address care of tiny-tots in resource limited settings. Authorities in their field of expertise and doyens of Neonatology will adorn as distinguished faculty.
