The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERNET of THINGS, EMBEDDED SYSTEMS and COMMUNICATIONS (IINTEC) will be held in the beautiful city of Gafsa, Tunisia from 20-22 October 2017.
IINTEC 2017, will provide an insight into the unique world stemming from the interaction between the fields of computers and communications.
IINTEC 2017 will provide an international technical forum for experts from industry and academia to exchange ideas and present results of on-going research in most state-of-the-art areas of computers and communications.
This year, special focus will be on the challenging issues related to all the opportunities of computing, sensing and communication in the era of the integration of Internet of Things & Smart Cities, Computer and Communications Systems, and Security issues. You are invited to submit a full paper, a proposal for a Panel/Invited Session or a Tutorial, related to the following topics of interest.
SCOPE
The advent of embedded computing low-power processors, intelligent wireless networks, and low-power sensors coupled with Big Data analytics "Data Mining" has led to what’s become a booming interest in the Internet of Things (IoT). Put simply, this combination of technologies enables a multitude of sensors to be put anywhere: not just where communications and power infrastructure exists, but anywhere valuable information is gleaned regarding the how, where, or what of a given thing.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a novel paradigm which is shaping the evolution of the future Internet. According to the vision underlying the IoT, the next step in increasing the ubiquity of the Internet, after connecting people anytime and everywhere, is to connect inanimate objects. By providing objects with embedded communication capabilities and a common addressing scheme, a highly distributed and ubiquitous network of seamlessly connected heterogeneous devices is formed, which can be fully integrated into the current Internet and mobile networks, thus allowing for the development of new intelligent services available anytime, anywhere, by anyone and anything. The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERNET of THINGS, EMBEDDED SYSTEMS and COMMUNICATIONS focuses on these challenges.
IINTEC 2017 will provide an excellent opportunity for presenting new results and to discuss the latest research and developments in the field. Participation of young scientists is strongly encouraged. A reduced registration fee will be available for students. The conference is intended as an international forum where an effective exchange of knowledge and experience amongst researchers active in various theoretical and applied areas can take place. Participation of scientists from academia and industry is particularly welcome. The program will include also considerable space for promoting new technical applications and developments, real-world challenges and success stories.
AIM
The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers, academics, scholars to the forefront of research activity on smart Wireless Sensor Networks, internet of things, embedded computing and communications. The specific profile of this session is to promote the state-of-the-art in scientific and practical research of the sensors technologies and examine the research opportunities and applications. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to present the current challenges and future opportunities in building smart sensor networks and new wireless architectures in an efficient and sustainable way. Overall the goal is to provide a thorough overview of the main topics about smart sensors technologies and their envisioned integration.
International speakers from academia and industry will give lectures tailoring their research field for an interdisciplinary audience. During the workshop, a dedicated discussion panel will bring into focus the collaboration between academia and industry in order to depict the future vision of smart sensors. Participants from the fields of computer sciences, information systems and communication technology will find an excellent opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary discussions, set up new networks and exchange information on a professional level. This conference will allow participants to be exposed to cutting edge results in one of the most challenging research area, while at the same time enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of Gafsa city.
