Optoelectronic nanomaterials and devices have emerged as a major technology and applications domain of nanoscience and technology, such as nanoelectronics and nanophotonics based on organic and inorganic semiconductors and quantum dots. Nanoelectronics refer to the use of nanomaterials and nanotechnology in electronic components. Nanophotonics is exploiting the interaction of light-emitting and light-sensing nanostructured materials and manufacturing photonic devices from such materials as well as the design and operational principles of optoelectrical sensing devices at nanoscale. This sub-conference aims at covering Optoelectronic nanomaterials and devices.
Sub-conference topics include but not limited to:
Nanomaterials: The materials with electronic, photonic, and photoelectric or photovoltaic effect at nanoscale, photonic crystals and quantum dots.
Molecular electronics: Molecular scaled devices such as light-emitting diodes, field-effect transistors, memorys, single molecular devices, molecular shuttle and molecular machines;
Nanoelectronics: Nanofabrication, nanolithography, nanoelectronic elements such as diodes, memeory and transistors, nanocircuitry, nanogenerators and bio-nano generators ;
Nanophotonics: Photodiodes, photovoltaic devices, photoresistors, phototransistors, photomultipliers, optoisolators, lasers, waveguides; optocoupler, optical fiber and integrated optical circuit (IOC) elements;
Nanoionics: The transport of ions rather than electrons in nanoscale systems such as ion conducting channel, ion pumps.
