Asian Utility Week is a large-scale expo with conference designed specifically for Asian utilities who seek to transform their utility business model to include digital enablers. It is known as Asia’s leader in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and features other innovations designed specifically to improve the customer’s experience of energy services.
This year, it's taking place on 24-25 May 2017 at Impact Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand. The event is now in its 18th year and will attract 3000+ utility professionals from the electricity, gas and water sectors. The speakers are a mix of Asian and international utility leaders, Smart Grid technology innovators, and R&D professionals. It’s the largest event of its kind in the Asia region and the only event that focuses exclusively on digital and customer facing innovations.
Abstracts will be reviewed and judged on the basis of the following criteria:
Relevance to the conference theme and theme of the individual session
Significance of the work/project to a targeted audience
Originality of work/project, including new concept, innovations or data
The completeness of the work/project
Please note:
Preference will be given to case studies and presentations (co-)presented by utilities. Sales and marketing presentations are not appropriate for this conference and will not be accepted. Vendors are welcome to submit proposals as part of a sponsorship package, preferably along with a leading utility speaker and based on an actual project experience/case study.
Format:
Speaking slots are approximately 20 minutes in length. By submitting an abstract authors are agreeing to provide a copyright release and final publication of their presentation for publication in the conference proceedings.
