Thank you for your participation in the AFS Spring Conference at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY. We had more than 275 participants at the conference, the largest attendance in many years!
Conference participants had the opportunity to choose from 7 short courses on Monday, providing in-depth learning of topics related to F & S, instructed by leaders in the field. Monday afternoon, an optional tour to the Evan Williams Distillery was offered. The weather was ideal for this tour as well as the Churchill Downs event Monday evening. We had close to 100 people register and participate in the Churchill Downs event which included tours of the Museum, an up-close and personal experience with a thoroughbred, a Bourbon tasting with an expert, viewing of "The Greatest Race", dinner and finally, an outstanding plenary talk by Bob Burkhead.

Nine technial sessions were offered on Tuesday followed by the Corporate Sponsors Open Meeting and Reception, followed by the Networking Reception and AFS 30th Anniversary Celebration. Fourteen student participated in the Student Poster Competition Tuesday evening.
