The Department of Information Science and Technology of College of Engineering, Guindy is proud to organize the Second edition of the International conference on Intelligent Information Technologies (ICIIT 2017), which will be held in Anna University, Chennai from December 20 - 22, 2017. The theme for this year’s conference is "Internet of Things (IoT)". The aim of ICIIT 2017 second edition is to provide a forum for the researchers, scientists, academicians and industrialist to present their latest research results and perspectives for future work in the IoT and its applications. The conference will include presentations in the form of contributed papers, poster sessions, and state of the art lectures by invited keynote speakers. A pre-conference is planned to organize on December 19, 2017, with subject experts from academia and industry on emerging topics in the field of Internet of things (IoT). This will provide an opportunity to discover recent technical advances, promote information exchange and ideas towards innovations through interaction with research and technology pioneers from across the globe.
The conference is seeking original, high impact research papers on all topics related to the development of the Internet of Things. Papers will be rigorously reviewed and selected based on technical novelty, the integrity of the analysis and social impacts and practical relevance. Original unpublished manuscripts, and not currently under review in another journal or conference, are solicited in relevant areas of Internet of Things are invited.

The Internet of Things has become a core element of the Internet. Low-cost sensing and actuation are available to everyone. It allows seamless information exchange and networked interactions of physical and digital objects. This interconnectivity together with large-scale data processing, advanced machine learning, robotics and new fabrication techniques steadily brings innovation and business models of the digital space into the physical world. All of this indicates that we are on the brink of another industrial revolution.
ICIIT 2017 is seeking for original, high impact research papers on all topics related to the development and social adoption of the Internet of Things. Papers are peer-reviewed and selected based on technical novelty, the integrity of the analysis and social impacts and practical relevance.
