The 83rd International Atlantic Economic Conference will be held in Berlin, Germany, in the Spring of 2017. Berlin, Germany’s capital and cultural center, has a long, vibrant, and at times tumultuous history dating back to the 13th century. The Brandenburg Gate, one of the best known German landmarks, has grown into a symbol of both peace and unity. It is these qualities that we wish to promote as an organization. The mission of the conference is to create a platform where economists and financial experts from academe, government, and the private sector can present their research results, exchange ideas and network in a collegial environment. Meetings also provide opportunities for participants to renew acquaintances and to forge new ones.
