On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 25th Asian and Oceanic Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOCOG), which will be held in Hong Kong on 15-18 June 2017. The Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Hong Kong (OGSHK) is proud to host this very important Congress this time.

The AOCOG congress, held every 2 years, has always promised a comprehensive programme to all participants, with focus on both the cutting-edge scientific technology and the updated management of clinical problems faced day in and day out. We would continue this tradition in the AOCOG 2017. The theme of our Congress is ‘Unity and Sharing: for a better future in women’s health’. We have planned an exciting list of invited international speakers as well as regional experts from Hong Kong and the Asian and Oceanic region. We hope to connect over 1,500 academics and professionals from across the world for this meeting, which will form a great platform for exchange of ideas that helps take medical standards in the region to new heights. There will also be a broad range of pre-congress workshops that are run by experts in the fields, where a more in-depth sharing of experience and transfer of technical skills are possible. The Congress will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which is a world-class facility situated in the heart of Hong Kong Island by the famous Victoria Harbour.

Hong Kong is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with unique opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, dining and entertainment. Hence, the fun of the Congress will continue with our fabulous social events!
