In this paper, we introduces the method of backbone routing optimization used in the software of indoor distribution system design and analyzes the shortcoming of this method that designers always choose devices and source power value by experience which often cause the problems that the design scheme is unreasonable, the difference is big, the project design cycle is long and the cost is highly.In addition,the effects of the common software for the backbone optimization results were limited. Therefore, we proposed a new backbone routing optimization algorithm, which can select the optimal combination of devices and adjust the source power value automatically. By this way, a meaningful application value of the optimized method can be achieved.
