The main aim of structural design is to design structures with certain reliability, i.e., the designed structures must be safe, practical, and durable. In the modern society which has gone through long-term development, mankind demands an increasingly higher structural reliability. Limited by China's national conditions in the field of civil engineering, there are problems with structural reliability. To be able to provide more reliable civil engineering structures, this study has analyzed the influencing factors of civil engineering structures, and conducted an in-depth study on the engineering structures. Through elaborating on civil engineering, especially on the aspect of structural reliability, it aims to further promote the development of civil engineering.
