The Dynamic Surface Control based Longitudinal Control of Flapping-Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle

Abstract—As one of the most important research directions of bionics, insect like flapping wing micro aerial vehicles have attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. This paper presents the overall design of MAV a wing; the paper gives the calculation equation of flapping wing aerodynamic force; the mechanics established aircraft longitudinal model, the model of the line of treatment; the dynamic surface control method, the design of the vertical controller. The simulation results show that the longitudinal stability controller based on dynamic surface can stabilize the vehicle near the equilibrium point.
