Abstract: During the earthquake, soil liquefaction occurs frequently with the phenomena of sand boils, ground fissures and lateral spread. In this paper, a FEM-FDM coupled method is proposed for numerical calculation. To deal with the material and geometrical nonlinearity of liquefied soil, the cyclic elasto-plastic constitutive model and the updated lagrangian formulation is applied. The results show that after earthquake the excess pore water pressure (epwpr) of liquefied soil lasts for a long time and the uplifting displacement of subway station is obvious. With the anti-floating measures, adding piles and barrier walls, the vertical displacement is significantly decreased.
