In this paper, the renovation method about cast-in-place underground continuous wall and semi-covered piles on sheet-pile wharf is analyzed by using ABAQUS to establish finite element model. We can draw the following conclusions: First, the method of cast-in-place underground continuous wall can reduce the rod tension and the maximum bending moment of sheet-pile wall due to the increased penetration depth. Second, the method of semi-covered piles can reduce the soil pressure behind the sheet-pile wall because of the shelter pile’s blocking effect and the soil arching effect and it can also reduce the maximum bending moment of sheet-pile wall. The analysis of the overall stability of the semi-covered sheet-pile using the strength reduction method is carried out and the analysis shows that the sliding position will be changed and the overall stability of the pier will be greatly improved, which can be considered in design.
