摘要
This paper presents a novel method for identifying the faulted blade and the direction of its pitch error in wind turbines based on the analysis of blade loads and deformations. Using the commercial software GH-Bladed 3.82, comprehensive simulations were conducted on a 1.5 MW wind turbine (AE40.25-Y2) under IEC 61400-1 standard DLC 1.1 conditions, encompassing 1215 simulation cases with 45 reference wind speeds and 27 pitch error configurations. The study reveals that when a blade has a positive pitch error, its load and deformation under all normal operating conditions are consistently smaller than those of the other two normally installed blades, and vice versa for negative pitch errors. A sorting-based comparison method is proposed to determine which blade may have a pitch error and the direction of the deviation angle, even in the presence of measurement deviations. The proposed method requires only the average load or deformation data of the three blades, making it practical for real-time monitoring .
