摘要
Accurate localization of random low-velocity impacts in composite structures remains challenging because variations in impact energy, environmental noise, and waveform distortion degrade time-of-arrival estimation. This study proposes an acoustic-emission-based localization method integrating CEEMDAN-generated pseudo-reference signals with NLMS adaptive filtering, wave-power-guided AIC arrival-time extraction, and four-point arc-based TDOA localization. Experiments were conducted on a 400 mm × 400 mm × 5 mm CFRP laminate instrumented with four acoustic emission sensors. A total of 480 drop-ball impacts were collected at 16 locations under energies of 0.25, 0.50, and 1.00 J. The corresponding mean localization errors were 1.66, 2.60, and 1.73 cm, respectively; all location-wise mean errors remained below 5 cm. The method achieves stable centimeter-level localization without prior knowledge of impact intensity, demonstrating its potential for passive structural health monitoring of composite structures.
