The development of multi-temporal high-energy X-ray radiography utilizing picosecond petawatt laser beams holds significant application potential in high-energy-density physics, including inertial confinement fusion (ICF) and material dynamics. This technique enables single-shot acquisition of high-resolution radiographic images at multiple evolution stages of dynamic processes, overcoming the limitations of traditional single-pulse picosecond radiography due to inconsistent initial conditions and improving experimental efficiency. Utilizing the dual-pulse picosecond laser configuration at the Shenguang-II Upgrade facility, we designed and implemented a dual-temporal radiography scheme for diagnosing the implosion dynamics of indirectly driven high-Z shell target. Single-shot dual-temporal radiographs were successfully obtained, revealing implosion characteristics such as implosion asymmetry, areal density evolution and average implosion velocity. These findings establish a technical foundation for advancing multi-temporal X-ray diagnostics using picosecond petawatt lasers, offering substantial implications for ICF research.
