摘要
As an important protective component, high-voltage DC fuses have been extensively employed in DC distribution networks, rail transit and new energy applications, with excellent protective performance achieved. The current breaking capacity serve as a key performance indicator for high-voltage DC fuses, which necessitates verification through type tests. Consequently, research on the breaking test technology of high-voltage DC fuses is imperative. In comparison with high-voltage AC fuses, the establishment of breaking test conditions under high-voltage and high-current DC operating conditions involves relatively high costs, which restricts the verification of the breaking performance of high-voltage DC fuses. moreover, high-voltage DC fuses may be utilized under low time constant conditions. The direct test method provided by conventional DC tests may not fulfill the requirements, hence, a test method with high equivalence is needed to satisfy the test demands for low time constants. Based on the breaking principle and research status of high-voltage DC fuses, this paper conducts a technical analysis of different equivalent test conditions for verifying the breaking performance of high-voltage DC fuses, and proposes test methods for high-voltage DC fuses under different time constants, offering a technical foundation for the verification of the breaking performance of high-voltage DC fuses.
