The convergence of sewage networks in the historic urban district leads to the direct influx of untreated sewage into rivers and lakes during the rainy season, presenting a bottleneck challenge for water environmental governance. With the accumulated phosphorus emissions exacerbating significant water body pollution. This study leverages the innovative three-dimensional electrode technology for phosphorus removal and explores the efficacy of ozone micro-nano bubble technology in enhancing this process. Focusing on the sewage sourced from combined sewer systems as the primary subject of investigation, univariate experimental analyses highlight that aeration with 80 mL·min-1 of ozone micro-nano bubbles yields the most pronounced enhancement in phosphorus removal efficiency for the three-dimensional electrode system. Subsequent orthogonal experimental findings indicate that, under optimal operational conditions, the phosphorus removal efficiency of the enhancement technology achieves 94.83%. The application of ozone micro-nano bubble technology amplifies ozone mass transfer efficiency, exhibiting a significant synergistic effect on the enhancement process of phosphorus removal using three-dimensional electrodes. The removal rate of total phosphorus within 20 minutes increased by 16.77%.
