With the continuous deepening of urbanization in our country, the ecological environment problems of urban lakes are becoming increasingly severe, especially in important water source lakes. Scientific and quantitative health assessment is the basis for maintaining the stability and improvement of lake ecological environment. This article is based on the analysis of the characteristics and health connotations of important urban water source lakes. From three aspects: ecological system structural integrity, ecological system disturbance resilience, and social service function sustainability, a lake health evaluation index system is constructed using 17 indicator layers and 20 indicators, and various indicator standards and evaluation standards are quantified. Taking Shitang Lake, the only backup water source in the urban area of Anqing City, as an example, this study is based on a special survey and monitoring of the Shitang Lake basin, combined with the actual water situation and lake management of Shitang Lake, to conduct a health evaluation. The results show that Shitang Lake is generally in a healthy state, but there are still individual indicators with scores below 60. In terms of ecological system structural integrity, it maintains a very healthy state, but in terms of ecological system disturbance resistance elasticity There are still certain deficiencies in the sustainability of social service functions, and daily maintenance and supervision should be strengthened to continuously upgrade the health of rivers and lakes. The results can be promoted and referenced in similar lake health assessment processes, providing reference and decision-making basis for lake ecosystem governance and protection.
