As an important part of river bed, an important factor to keep the river stable and healthy, and an important resource for infrastructure construction, river sand has important economic value and social needs. The management of sand excavation in river course is an important content of protecting rivers and lakes, which is related to the safety of flood control, water supply, navigation, ecology and important infrastructure, it is the foundation to ensure the steady development of economy, society and ecology. By collecting the relevant data of sand excavation management in Pihe river channel, and through field investigation, this paper analyzes the present situation of sand excavation management in Pihe River channel and the problems existing in the process of supervision, aiming at the problems existing in sand excavation management in Pihe River channel, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the supervision of sand mining in river course, which will help the construction of Happiness River and lake, and provide reference for sand mining according to law, science and standard.
